Perhaps it's an odd thing to say, but I always rather look forward to my annual appointments with Dr. Hugh Jones! He has been my consultant for my arthritis for some years now. He is an excellent doctor, and listens to what you have to say, and his treatment & advice are always spot on. But mainly you feel uplifted after the consultation due to his great sense of humour and approachability.

I have been seeing Hugh Jones over the last four years for Polymyalgia and have always found him very willing to listen, and explain fully his findings and diagnosis and treatment options. He is certainly generous with his time and you are never made to feel rushed through your consultation. Despite all the pressure of the NHS he always seems to be upbeat and encouraging, so that you leave feeling optimistic and positive.

What a super guy! He is personable, knowledgeable and takes time to explain things to you. I suffer with lower back pain and have had to have some facet joint injections. I am not usually good with injections but I don’t have to worry about anything as the whole experience is relaxed and jovial, with the least amount of pain from the injections. A truly wonderful doctor.
